The City of West Hollywood Russian Advisory Board, Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission, Women’s Advisory Board and the American-Russian Business Council present the International Women’s Day Celebration.  The event, in coordination with Women’s History Month, promotes a broader understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds in our city and provides the audience with an opportunity to become acquainted with the cultural traditions of the Russian-speaking community.  The event aims to help women and girls forge a more gender inclusive world by taking groundbreaking action that truly drives the greatest change for women, especially young women, in the community. Activities include an art show, holiday fair (selling jewelry, bags, cosmetics, clothing, and gifts), fashion show, crafts, raffle prizes, and performances by singers and dancers.
