Landlord Basics provides a basic understanding of landlord rights and responsibilities under the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO), including: re-registration, limits on rent increases, security deposits, annual registration fees, pass-through; property management, minimum maintenance standards, housing services; the hearing process; avoiding rent reductions, overcharges; repairs, code compliance, temporary relocation; requirements for legal entry; preparing for emergencies, disasters; reducing water use; AirBnB, short-term rentals. There is no charge to attend. RSVP is not necessary.
