  • Location: West Hollywood Library Community Meeting Room
    625 N. San Vicente Blvd

Community based facilitated monthly discussion group for gay men. The purpose of TRIBE WeHo Gay Men’s Discussion Group is to foster internalized dignity in gay men. We do this through the exploration of our shared challenges and opportunities using face to face discussions. www.weho.org/tribe

This month’s topic:

“Love”

Capable of exquisite pleasure and pain, love affects us all. In 2017 we have marriage, HIV, PrEP, hook-up apps, open and closed relationships, kink, vanilla, and many other flavors to choose from. OMG! Breath in, breath out, let’s talk, let’s listen, and let’s lift each other up through our shared experiences. There will be love in the air.

Potential Talking Points:

  1. How does a guy get a real date?
  2. How do you show love for yourself?
  3. How did you feel on Valentine’s Day?
  4. What gets a guy a second date with you? Deal breakers.
  5. Monogamy vs. open relationships. How do you tell your date what you’re after?
  6. Intimacy & Sex – How are they related?
  7. What are the benefits to being in a relationship? Being single?
  8. Do apps like Grindr or Scruff perpetuate gay men’s singleness?
  9. How do you deal with loneliness, regardless of relationship status?

Admission is free.

No RSVP required.
