Women in Film Speaker Series-Tales from the Trenches

The Women In Film Speaker Series features filmmakers and industry leaders across many areas of entertainment who share valuable professional insights into the art and craft of film, television, and media-making. Women In Film is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for women, encouraging creative projects by women, and expanding and enhancing portrayals of women in all forms of global media.  

One of the missions of Women In Film is to capture and preserve the legacies of extraordinary women working in all areas of the film and television industries to preserve their unique history in the entertainment industry, as well as to serve as knowledge and inspiration for future generations of women. 

The Legacy Series has documented the women and interviewed extraordinary, iconic women whose careers are rooted in the myths and legends of filmmaking. They formed unions and were blacklisted. They share inspirational stories of personal and professional triumphs with great humor and wit, fortitude and candor. 

It is co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood Women's Advisory Board and the West Hollywood Women’s Leadership Conference. 

Free onsite parking in the 5 story parking structure with validation. 

$10.00 entry fee.
