The City of West Hollywood and the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Center’s Executive Advisory Board will co-host an upcoming conference, “Lesbian and Bisexual Women’s Health in Los Angeles County” at The California Endowment Center for Healthy Communities. The conference is open to health professionals, including nurses, social workers, and other allied health professionals, as well as health educators, community health workers, volunteers, and others. Sessions will feature presentations and discussions highlighting inclusive policies and practices promoting a welcoming healthcare environment, strong patient-provider relationships, and a safe space for women to disclose their sexual orientation, which improves the quality of care. The demand is expected to exceed capacity, so advance registration is required. Free on-site parking will be available.
