Have you always wanted to write, but don’t know where or how to get started? Do you find yourself in a cycle of fits and starts with your writing and can’t seem to move forward? Are you a seasoned or novice writer looking to find a community?
The West Hollywood Library’s Writing Workshop, which began last summer and continued into the fall, resumes for a Spring 2017 extension occurring on alternating Saturdays from January 7 to April 22. These workshops will:
●be geared to all levels of writers (novices to professional)
●focus primarily on fiction/nonfiction/memoir
●provide you with writing assignments to complete
●give you opportunities for feedback on work
●get you started on the writing life you’ve always wanted!
Most of these workshops will be facilitated by our resident and renowned novelist/memoirist Felice Picano, who has also written poetry, drama, and screenplays; guest authors/writers will be on hand to conduct the remaining workshops. This is your chance to learn from the masters!
