The West Hollywood Sports Festival (WSF) is a celebration of athletes, competition, community and national pride. The Second annual WSF will be held over the Labor Day holiday weekend, September 2-5, 2016. Multiple gay sports leagues will engage in first-class competition while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork and athletic achievement. The 2016 WSF will feature tennis, basketball, soccer, dodgeball, and volleyball tournaments, primarily on the UCLA campus. An Opening Ceremony/Visit Weho Kick-off Party is hosted September 2nd at the Mondrian Hotel’s famous Skybar. Closing Ceremonies will be held Sunday at La Boheme on Santa Monica Blvd. The final day of tennis competition, Monday, September 5, 2016, will be held at Plummer Park in West Hollywood.
Spectators may opt to purchase a $10 pass in advance ($15 day of) to attend the WSF Health & Wellness Expo at the Pauley Pavilion, Saturday from 10:00am-5:00 pm. There will be a dozen 30-minute sample classes from featured local fitness studios, prize drawings and giveaways at each exhibitor booth, discounts and promotions at participating businesses around West Hollywood.
