Join the City of West Hollywood’s Human Rights Speakers Series for “Exploring LGBT Rights in China and Abroad.”  The event will examine LGBT rights in China and other countries and difficulties non-profits face when trying to provide aide to LGBT individuals in countries with restrictive anti-LGBT rights.  Guest panelists include: Mulan Wu, Director, Shenyang Lesbian Fraternity; Rain Gao, Director, Anhui Hefei Youth Health Service Center (HYHSC); Guo Ziyang (Joe), Gay Activist; Damien Lu, Ph.D., Interpreter; and J. Bob Alotta, Executive Director, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice.  The event will be moderated by Mayor Pro Tempore John Heilman.

A “Call-to-action” dessert reception will follow the event.
