The panel discussion “Out of Iran & Out of the Closet”, sponsored by local nonprofit organization JQ International, will expose the unique challenges faced by Persian-Americans in their coming out process as LGBTQ. The panel will feature points of view from a variety of different perspectives, including LGBTQ individuals of Jewish background and members representing the broad diversity within the Persian community.
