Hattie McDaniel - Let Me In tells the story of Hattie's rise from cleaning woman to singer and actress, her riendship with Clark Gable and her struggle with racism even as her star is on rise. All of this takes place on the evening that Gone With The Wind is set to premiere in Atlanta. Hattie and the rest of the African American performers are not invited, so they plan their own celebration.
