Lesbian Speakers Series - The Passionate Pursuits of Angela Bowen

The City of West Hollywood’s Lesbian Speakers Series presents a film screening of “The Passionate Pursuits of Angela Bowen,” a documentary film about Angela Bowen, who grew up in inner-city Boston during the Jim Crow Era, went on to be become a classical ballerina, a legendary dance teacher, a black lesbian feminist activist, writer and professor.  The film screening will be followed by a discussion with writer/director Jennifer Abod.

 

There is no charge for admission.
