Event co-sponsored by the City of West Hollywood, First Credit Bank, Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, and the Elder Financial Protection Network. Join us for a free workshop for older adults on how to recognize and avoid fraud, scams, identity theft and other types of financial exploitation. Speakers include: Robin Allen, Deputy District Attorney, Keynote Speaker, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Elder Abuse Unit; and Lou Holtz, Jr., Deputy District Attorney, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Elder Abuse Unit. Community Resource Panel: Gregory Alker, Deputy District Attorney, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Auto Insurance Fraud Unit; Kevin Sanderson, Bureau of Automotive Repair, Department of Consumer Affairs Program; and Mario Salas, Consumer Assistance Program, Department of Consumer Affairs Program.
