The City of West Hollywood has partnered with CalArts MA in Aesthetics and Politics to present the West Hollywood Aesthetics and Politics lecture series (WHAP!). This project provides a platform for the encounter between academics and artists working on issues of memory, violence, the post-colonial condition, current democratic struggles, and other forms of contemporary aesthetic-politico interventions in a variety of contexts, specifically in Latin America and the US.
