The West Hollywood Human Rights Speakers Series presents “Human Rights in Post-Election Iran” co-sponsored by the National Iranian American Council, Human Rights Watch and the City of West Hollywood. Panelists include: Homa Sarshar, Author, Journalist, and Lecturer; Faraz Sanel, Researcher, Middle East and North Africa Division, Human Rights Watch; Jamal Abdi, Policy Director, National Iranian American Council; Ali Shakeri, Iranian Businessman and Activist, Community Advisory Board member, Center for Citizen Peacebuilding at UC-Irvine; and moderated by West Hollywood City Councilmember John Heilman. A “Call to Action” dessert reception will immediately follow. Admission is free. Three-hour free parking validation in the 5-story West Hollywood Park Parking Garage.
