Presented as part of the One City One Pride Queer Arts Festival. Artists and actors of color from different backgrounds will discuss sexuality, gender, and cultural issues through poetic and dramatic readings. Organized by Victor Yates, contributor to “For Colored Boys when the Rainbow is Not Enough”. Speakers include: Karen Anzoategui (poet and actress, Ser: LA vs BA), ROB B. (openly gay rapper, model, and activist), Cynthia Gonzalez, Jorge Ortiz(creator of Chris/tina, a TV series about a transgendered young woman), Shaka Walker (actor and writer) with moderator Antonio X.
