Event sponsored by the City of West Hollywood’s Senior Activity Department and Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles. West Hollywood’s Harper Avenue Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places. This unique collection of courtyard apartments is an excellent example of 1920’s and 1930’s styles of period revival architecture. These elegant apartment houses catered to the growing movie industry and were home to many Hollywood stars. Meet the City of West Hollywood’s Urban Designer Stephanie Reich, AIA, and Historic Preservation Intern, Andrew Goodrich, and learn about the rich architectural and cultural resources in the area.
