"The Nutcracker and The Mouse King" by E.T.A. Hoffman is a magical, enchanting tale of a young girl who becomes attached to a toy nutcracker who is really the Prince of Candy City in the Kingdom of Sweets. He and his army of toy soldiers, harlequins, cupids, clowns and gingerbread men are involved in a fight to the death with the Mouse King and his legions of mice. It is a complex, exciting fairy tale featuring vivid characters such as Nutcracker, young Marie, Godfather Drosselmeier, Princess Pirlipat, the King and Queen of Sausages, and the Hard Nut to Crack. Joe Praml lived in London for 14 years where he worked on stage, film, television and radio projects as an actor, writer and director. As an actor on the London and UK stage, he learned the use of voice and language, which he uses to bring energy and power to his readings. Admission is free. Parking Validation will be provided.
