Join us for a lecture and PowerPoint presentation by Professor Troy Johnson, Chair of American Indian Studies, California State University, Long Beach. The presentation will cover the historical background and little understood issues regarding the influence and status of American Indians incorporated into the U.S. Constitution, followed by questions and answers. The Penguin Guide to the U.S. Constitution by Constitutional scholar, Professor Richard Beeman, perhaps best known for his appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is the reference book for this presentation. Free copies of this book will be available at the library's reference desk before the presentation for those who plan to attend. Validated parking available.
