The City of West Hollywood is getting the word out that Assemblymember Richard Bloom’s office is is partnering with the CA Department of Housing & Community Development and Bet Tzedek Legal Services to host a town hall about the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program. 

The State of California recently increased funding for income-eligible renters and their landlords who have been impacted by COVID-19 to cover 100% of unpaid and future rent or utilities. This increase will help recoup landlord losses and keep tenants housed. California's critical eviction protections have also been extended for renters impacted by COVID-19, through September 30, 2021. 

On Tuesday, August 17 at 5 p.m., Assemblymember Bloom's office is partnering with the CA Department of Housing & Community Development and Bet Tzedek Legal Services to host an important virtual town hall to learn more about the program, who is eligible, and how to apply for the financial assistance.
