Virtual Community Meeting to provide Information to the neighborhood for a proposed nightclub/restaurant with limited entertainment (Stache).

Applicant is proposing combining 2 adjacent small existing businesses (Cafe D'Etoile and Bumsam) of approximately 3,093 sq. ft. (2,718 sq. ft. interior plus 375 sq. ft. of outdoor seating).  No expansion is proposed either inside or outside.  The combined premises will have food and alcohol service throughout,  Stache will incorporate state of the art technology, design and materials to mitigate noise and provide the best possible visual and aural experience, including:  1. Sound absorbing materials in the interior; 2. High tech directional speakers to project sound to the interior and not onto the street; 3. No outdoor base speakers; and 4. Exterior canopy to prevent sound from escaping the premises and protect outdoor seating. The rear premises will be dedicated to back of the house and bathroom uses, with no public dining or bar areas, so sound will be buffered and prevented from being heard in the rear.  Parking lot, alley and commercial building housing art gallery in the rear will further buffer noise.
