West Hollywood City Council Candidate Forum

  • Date: October 06, 2020 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The City of West Hollywood and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will host a West Hollywood City Council Candidate Forum in a virtual teleconference format.

Community members will be able to take part virtually in the West Hollywood City Council Candidate Forum through the Zoom platform by registering in advance through the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_xpEDdpc7Seaq5ojeyFu46w

The forum will be available for later replay on WeHoTV by visiting the City’s YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/wehotv

Candidate questions will be coordinated by the independent and non-partisan organization League of Women Voters of Los Angeles and the forum will feature an independent and impartial moderator, NBC4 Anchor and Reporter, Robert Kovacik.

Community members wishing to submit questions may do so by typing a question into the “chat” option available on the Zoom platform. A representative from the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles will sort these questions to eliminate any redundancy and will ask questions directly to the candidates. During the Forum, candidates and the moderator will be visible on the screen, along with representatives from the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles who will use paddles to keep the candidate and moderator aware of time, but these will not be seen on screen.

There will be two City Council seats to be filled for four-year terms in the November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election. Each qualified candidate for a seat on the City of West Hollywood City Council was invited to participate.
