          CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD CONSOLIDATED  MUNICIPAL ELECTION: 
                                                MARCH 7, 2017

On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the City of West Hollywood will hold its Municipal Election.  This will allow the Citizens of West Hollywood to elect two (2) members to the City Council.   The March 7, 2017 Election will be consolidated with, and conducted by the County Registrar-Recorder County Clerk's office. Therefore, the County will be processing the Ballots and will Certify the Election. 

Below is a timeline for the Election:

Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk certifies election results

*March 29, 2017

County Board of Supervisors declares results official and certifies election results

*April 4, 2017

City Council approval and adoption of Election Results and swearing in of elected Councilmembers

April 17, 2017

Election of new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore

April 17, 2017

Installation of new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore

May 15, 2017

On Election Night, the City will not have Central Counting in City Council Chambers.  The Ballots will be counted by the County Registrar-Recorder in Norwalk.  However, Election results will be displayed and updated throughout the evening on the City's website.  If you have any questions, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 323-848-6409.

The California Secretary of State’s Voter Registration page allows you to register online. You must be 18 years of age, a United States citizen, and a resident of California.  You will need your California driver license, the last four (4) digits of your social security number, and your date of birth.  The last day to register to vote for the March 7, 2017 Consolidated Municipal Election is FEBRUARY 21, 2017.
